Therapy for Anxiety and Depression. Therapy for Self-Esteem. CBT Therapist.

You think you can’t feel this way any longer, and try your best to deal with it. It has been exhausting to live with anxiety, overthinking, and stress.

You are ready to make some changes.

I work with women who want to feel their best and have a happy life. Some women come in because of overwhelming anxiety, stress, and lack of inner peace. Others come in when they notice they self-sabotage or end in cycles of self-doubt, fear, and not feeling enough.

I am here to help you determine your patterns and where they come from. Help you deal with anxiety and the way you feel about yourself. I provide a space to help talk about your challenges and how they affect you. Therapy is centered on you, guiding you with expertise and empathy to explore your challenges and find solutions.

Therapy is not one size fits all. My main priority is to get to know you and the particular factors that are associated with your experience with anxiety, overthinking, or self-doubt. I am fully invested in the process of your therapy to attain what brings joy and your best self.

Every session will be different but productive. You can leave every session feeling a sense of relief, hope, “aha” moments, or the skills you need.

I want to help you feel your best self.

With over 10 years of therapy experience, I develop ongoing plans for our sessions and use evidence-based therapies. I choose treatments that are the right match for your main concerns.

I will be your invested ally to sort through how you feel, how you are doing, and how to move forward.

My Methods + Approach

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based treatment for anxiety and depression, and other life challenges. CBT emphasizes the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

CBT recognizes how our predisposition and life experiences shape our thinking, affecting our emotions, mood, and behavior.

With CBT, you can learn how to identify irrational thoughts or negative beliefs associated with anxiety, depression, and distress. CBT can teach you to restructure your thoughts and change behavior to improve emotional well-being. Further, CBT can help address negative thoughts, overthinking, worry, and self-sabotage.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) emphasizes how negative past experiences and biological predispositions are associated with emotional dysregulation, negative self-image, and stress within interpersonal relationships.

Dialectical Behavior is the balance between acceptance and change. DBT provides the skills to cope with distress, regulate overwhelming emotions, and gain interpersonal effectiveness.

You can expect to learn various skills to feel your best emotionally and change behaviors.

Person-Centered

Person-centered therapy, also known as client-centered therapy, is a therapeutic approach that focuses on providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals to explore and understand themselves better. In this type of therapy, the client is viewed as the expert of their own experience, and the therapist acts as a compassionate facilitator, assisting the client in their journey of self-discovery and personal growth.

The core belief of person-centered therapy is that individuals have an innate capacity for self-healing and personal development. The therapist's role is to create a non-judgmental and empathetic space where clients can freely express themselves, without fear of criticism or judgment. This approach emphasizes the importance of the therapeutic relationship, as trust and rapport between the client and therapist are crucial for progress to occur.

One of the main goals of person-centered therapy is to help clients develop a greater sense of self-awareness and self-acceptance. By exploring their thoughts, feelings, and experiences, clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their needs. The therapist actively listens, reflects, and validates the client's experiences, providing a supportive presence that encourages self-exploration.

Psychodynamic therapy is an approach to therapy that focuses on exploring and understanding the unconscious processes and dynamics that influence our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It delves into the underlying causes of emotional distress, aiming to bring about lasting change and personal growth.

In psychodynamic therapy, the therapist works collaboratively with you to create a safe and supportive environment where you can freely express your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. The therapeutic relationship is emphasized as a powerful tool for insight and healing.

By gaining insight into these unconscious influences, psychodynamic therapy aims to promote self-awareness, self-understanding, and self-acceptance. It helps you develop a deeper understanding of yourself, your motivations, and the ways in which your past experiences shape your present thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

Psychodynamic therapy recognizes that patterns established in early life can continue to impact our relationships and emotional well-being in the present. By exploring these patterns, therapy aims to bring about change by resolving inner conflicts, promoting emotional healing, and fostering personal growth.
